5 WEEKS ACTING PART TWO SCENE STUDY AND REHEARSALS

The SCENE STUDY AND REHEARSALS Classes span 5 weeks, at 3 hours a week. The classes are held in a studio in the heart of the theater district in NYC.

The SCENE STUDY AND REHEARSALS course is aimed at all those who have an interest and desire to deepen their acting knowledge, skills and practices.

The scenes that students will analyze and rehearse are from plays by Chekhov, Tennessee Williams, Neil Simon. The instructor will suggest the scenes from which students will choose which one to work on.

The course consists of four training stages:
The first stage is recall and practice of the basic elements of acting training.
The second stage is reading and choosing a scene. Students will be able to choose suggested scenes from plays by Chekhov, Tennessee Williams or Neil Simon.
The third stage is an analysis of the scenes and characters.
The fourth and most important stage is rehearsals of the scenes. Work on the characters.
All registered participants will receive a confirmation email with instructions on the location where the class will be held.
The class is open to all.

The course is led by Eva Volitzer. She is an actress and teacher with a great reputation. Eva Volitzer has taught acting courses at Pace University, Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute, New Bulgarian University, and others. Her students have raved about working with her.
