The course includes analysis and rehearsals of scenes from Shakespeare’s comedies. Each participant must choose one scene from those published in the DRAMATIC TEXTS section. Also, the student in the courses should know very well the play from which chosen the relevant scene.
Analysis of scenes include:
Reading the text by the respective roles and actors.
Actual analysis of each role.
Analysis of the relationships of the characters in the scene.
Specifying the preliminary circumstances and biographies of the characters.
Table rehearsals.
Stage rehearsals.
Mise-en-scene.
Deriving the ideas of each character and over the task.
Spontaneity. A thought. Imagination.
Scene analysis involves understanding action through language. Language as action. And also the rhythm of the language, the poetry of the text.
Rehearsals practically exercise the skill of communication between stag characters, the skill of listening and making sense of what the partner said
The course will be for everyone who loves Shakespeare’s plays.
